Application Manager with technical affinity
Our Services & Support team is an important link between customer and technical consultant. The team has the goal of supporting customers in a professional manner with regard to operational applications. This must, however, be achieved within the preconditions of the SLA agreements with the customer. We challenge team members to improve the level of customer service as well as the resolving of issues by technical consultants. The Services & Support team works closely together with the other teams within our company. The contribution of every individual team member has an impact on customer satisfaction and, therefore, the results of Esize.
As an Application Manager you will be responsible for service and support with regard to (one of) the Esize applications. You will know the application like the back of your hand both on a functional and a technical level. You will also be able to correctly analyse and describe application problems. You can also collect important additional information in consultation with the customer and feed possible solution directions back to the customer. You can use TopDesk to log and communicate messages correctly to both the customer and the other teams within ESIZE. In addition to your problem analysis skills, you can specify the technical impact on application, system and database level. To conclude, you will contribute towards the delivery of additional services such as application administrator training, release notes and SLA reports.
Profile
Our perfect candidate has a minimum of a senior secondary vocational education or equivalent ability with a few years experience in a similar position. You are an enthusiastic team player who will get down to business and who even likes to take the initiative. You have good analytical competences. You are accurate and can clearly organise your work. In addition, you have good communication skills and know how to address customers in a professional manner. You have experience with web-based (and, by preference, Java-based) enterprise environments. You also have a sound knowledge of software development processes. You must have an excellent understanding of English and Dutch.
