Senior Account Manager

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for increasing our market share in the Netherlands. You will develop new business contacts and maintain existing relations. In addition, you will also monitor all actions with regard to mainly large and new accounts. You will independently or in partnership initiate lead-generating activities and will analyse preferences, requirements and options at the relevant market parties.

The development of new business will take place by identifying and qualifying needs in the market. It is essential that you know how to apply a creative approach that will ensure that you come in contact with the end user at the right level. Once the initial contact has been made, the business relation will be further built upon by obtaining more knowledge about the organisation structure, developing a business case, determining business needs and maintaining contacts with decision-makers.

Profile
You are a true initiator who feels at home in an informal and flat organisation with short communication lines. You will be supported by consultants during the sales process but can position the solution independently at prospects. In addition, the option will be offered of approaching new sales markets in close partnerships with marketing. Remuneration will be in line with the market.

You will have completed a higher professional or university education with information technology and business administration elements. You will have at least 5 years experience in the software sector in a commercial role. In addition, you will have practical knowledge of the application of procurement processes and SRM and ERP systems within larger organisations. Ambitious objectives are part of your working environment. You have a pioneering spirit and the capacity to obtain insight into organisations quickly. You excel in being commercially tough and have the ability to build on long-term business relations. You, naturally, have good communication skills and are representative. You are fully aware of multilevel selling.
