As a Technical Consultant at Esize, you are jointly responsible for maintenance and ongoing development of our Cloud Spend Management Platform. Our Technical Consultants are broadly deployable, and form the link between the Development team (at locations in Weesp and India) and the other departments within the organisation. The team works according to a standardised approach for testing and maintenance of the application, communication and documentation. All this according to the guidelines of the ISAE 3402 certification. And so you contribute to professional and quality services for our customers, and to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities and tasks
As a Technical Consultant, you formulate specifications and descriptions of application modifications. You are also involved in their testing and release, as part of the regular release strategy or as part of a specific customer-based project. Furthermore, you and other Technical Consultants form a crucial link in support of the platform within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), at both the technical and functional levels. Topdesk and Jira are thereby used as support systems, and you contribute to the (technical and functional) analysis of application problems.
Our ideal candidate has an Bachelor (HBO) background in IT and 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position. You thereby have experience with one or more of the following (or similar) technologies: Web Application Development (Java based), Windows, Linux, Oracle, Biztalk and/or Business Objects. Above all, you are eager to learn and have the ambition to continue to develop contextually and across the scope of these technologies. Esize offers plenty of opportunities for that purpose. You have strong analytical skills and are fluent in English and preferably Dutch. Finally, you have knowledge of or experience with ITIL.
